School Nurse

Each school in the District has a full-time registered nurse whose primary job is to support learning. While nurses do not diagnose illness or attend to injuries that have occurred outside the school day, nurses can, and often do, refer for potential health-related problems. Please contact the school nurse as soon as possible if your child has health concerns, a change in health status, or a new diagnosis, so the need for a health plan and potential accommodations can be discussed.
